Design

The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with two different colour options – Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest. Over the years, OnePlus has shifted its focus on the design of smartphones and has also improved the build quality. The 10 Pro is an upgrade over the 9 Pro in terms of looks. The frame is made of aluminium.

Over the aluminium frame, they have used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the back. It has a matte glass texture and is fingerprint-resistant. OnePlus has used Gorilla Glass Victus for the screen.

Taking inspiration from Samsung Galaxy S22, OnePlus has used the same contour-cut design for the camera. They have made the camera module with ceramic, which prevents scratches and also makes it look attractive and unique.

Just like the previous models of OnePlus, this one also comprises an alert slider on the right side of your smartphone. However, it has been placed a little higher, which may cause some problems while one-handed use. The volume buttons are on the left side.

You will get the loudspeaker, sim tray, charging port, and primary mic at the bottom. Though this phone is heavier than the 9 Pro, it surprisingly feels light at hand. Moreover, it is also slimmer than its predecessor. A headphone jack and storage expansion are not available.

Display

The display of the OnePlus 9 Pro was top-notch and the OnePlus 10 Pro has made further significant improvements. It comes with a massive 6.7-inch screen, having QHD resolution. They have used an AMOLED panel.

It is equipped with second-generation LTPO technology, which automatically alters the refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz, depending on the thing you are watching. You also have the option to change the screen resolution to FHD+ from QHD+ to save battery life.

The only 5G mobile in the market that has a better display is Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra but it comes at a much higher price. The display is bright. The colour calibration is great. The maximum brightness is 1,300 nits. The mobile supports HDR as well as HDR 10+.

Performance

Just like every other Android phone in this price range, the OnePlus 10 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It uses LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 ROM. It is equipped with an SLA X-axis” linear haptic motor and has nine 5G bands. This is one of the most powerful 5G mobiles in the market right now.

The phone runs on Oxygen OS 12.1. Another advantage of this software is that you will only find useful apps so you don’t have to uninstall all the unnecessary apps.

Moreover, there are various customization options for themes, app icons, fonts, accent colour, and likewise. This model is further equipped with an Adreno 730 GPU for handling graphics.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is known for generating excessive heat but OnePlus has used its most advanced cooling system. It has further used a customized vapour chamber, copper foil, and copper carbon to remove heat from the motherboard.

Camera

Just like the OnePlus 9 Pro, the OnePlus 10 Pro uses the second generation “Hasselblad Camera”. Though the primary and telephoto camera of the 9 Pro and 10 Pro is the same.

OnePlus has introduced new ultra-wide and selfie camera sensors in the 10 Pro. The main camera uses a 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor and the telephoto camera uses an 8MP OmniVision OV08A10 sensor.

The ultra-wide camera is inspired by the 50MP Samsung ISOCELL sensor. It can cover a 150-degree field of view. There is AI Scene Optimization for improving colour contrast and brightness. The camera offers 3.3X optical zoom and 30X digital zoom. The front camera is 32MP.

Battery Life
